The Warwick Negotiation Club is attended by professionals, business owners, managers and aspiring leaders who are committed to developing one of the most valuable business skills: negotiation.
- Standard professional membership is £48 per month plus VAT, which is £57.60 per month.
- As a student, you can join for just £18 per month.
- That means you save more than £470 in the year compared with the standard professional membership, while still gaining access to the same live meetings, community and development opportunities.
This is not a traditional training course.
It is a practical skills development club built around one simple principle:
Negotiation skills improve through practice.
Why Warwick?
Warwick has played a significant role in some of the most important negotiations in English history.
Today, the Warwick Negotiation Club continues that tradition by providing a place where people can regularly practise, develop and refine their negotiation skills.
The club meets online on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 12:15 to 13:45 UK time.
Each 90-minute session provides structured, practical negotiation exercises designed to help members build confidence and capability through experience.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Most students learn about negotiation through lectures, textbooks and classroom discussions.
The Warwick Negotiation Club gives you something far more valuable:
Regular negotiation practice alongside professionals.
You will have opportunities to negotiate, observe, receive feedback and learn from professionals working across procurement, sales, law, project management, leadership and many other sectors.
Unlike many student societies, you will be developing your skills alongside experienced professionals who use negotiation in the real world.
Every meeting helps you become more confident, more capable and more prepared for future career opportunities.

CPD and Professional Development
Each club meeting lasts 90 minutes and can contribute towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
By attending regularly, members can accumulate up to 30 hours of practical negotiation skills development each year.
Unlike many forms of training, these hours are spent actively practising, observing and receiving feedback rather than simply listening to presentations.
Stand Out From Other Graduates
Many graduates can say they attended a negotiation workshop.
Far fewer can demonstrate that they actively practise their negotiation skills every month.
As a club member, you can highlight your ongoing development on your CV and LinkedIn profile, demonstrating a commitment to building practical skills that employers value.
You are not simply learning about negotiation.
You are actively developing it.
Skills Employers Value
The skills developed through negotiation practice extend far beyond formal negotiations.
- Communication
- Active Listening
- Questioning
- Confidence
- Problem Solving

- Stakeholder Management
- Decision Making
These capabilities are valuable in virtually every profession.
