Nottingham Law School Negotiation Day â 28 May
Iâm delighted to announce that Iâll be back at Nottingham Law School at the end of May to run a full-day Negotiation Practice Workshop as part of their summer skills programme.
This is not a theory session. Itâs a hands-on, practical workshop where students will actively practise negotiation skills essential for legal practice. With negotiation training becoming mandatory during pupillage from September 2025, this session couldnât be more timely or relevant.
- Where: PG Centre, Belgrave, NTU
- When: Tuesday 28 May, 10:00â15:00
- Includes: Certificate of Completion, lunch, and refreshments
- To book: Email [email protected] with your name, student number, and dietary needs.
Nottingham Trent University has always been one of my favourite places to run sessions, and Iâm genuinely looking forward to another fantastic day with some exceptional students.
Today: GOLD Club Meeting
Today is our GOLD Club meeting, and weâre expecting to welcome some new faces into the fold. These sessions are all about practising with purposeâshort, structured negotiation rounds with feedback and reflection. Whether youâre new or experienced, every Club meeting is a chance to stretch your skills and build negotiation confidence.
Weâll be diving into some negotiation tactics and getting hands-on... as always.
A Conversation from Singapore
This week I had a great conversation with Scott Harrison, a fellow negotiation trainer based in Singapore. We share a mutual passion for making negotiation training practical, not theoretical and after just one call, weâre already exploring the idea of launching a Singapore Negotiation Club.
Itâs early days, but the enthusiasm is thereâand itâs a reminder that the appetite to practise negotiation isnât just local.... Itâs global!
