Support the Future of Legal Talent Through Negotiation Sponsorship
Empower Tomorrow’s Lawyers While Investing in the Confidence of Your Own Trainees
The Negotiation Club partners with student law societies across the UK to deliver award-winning, practice-based negotiation workshops designed to build confident, resilient legal professionals. Through a simple sponsorship model, your firm can help fund access to this training for law students—while also providing valuable development for your own trainees or graduates.
Why Sponsor a Student Negotiation Society?
Law firms have a unique opportunity to support student-run legal societies in a way that delivers real professional value.
By sponsoring a society’s negotiation training programme:
- You provide practical skills training to students who may one day work with you.
- You invest in your own trainees or graduates by placing them on the same award-winning course.
- You demonstrate visible commitment to the profession, diversity and future leadership.
What You’re Supporting:
Help us to help student societies by delivering a structured, 4-week Negotiation Skills Programme focused on:
- Real-time negotiation practice using bespoke tools like Negotiation Cards
- Coaching and feedback to enhance critical thinking and communication
- All backed by The Negotiation Club’s recognised methodology used by students and global professionals alike.
How This Sponsorship Works:
We keep it simple and impactful.
- Each 4-week cohort is open to 16 participants.
- Your firm sponsors a cohort by placing one of YOUR own Trainees (or multiple trainees) on the programme.
- Your sponsorship allows law societies members to participate at minimal or no cost.
- At the same time, your own trainee(s) build negotiation confidence in a real-world, professional context.
- Your firm’s contribution is recognised in student communications, events and marketing
- The Trainee cost is £480 (EX VAT) and acts as the society sponsorship!
A Recent Example: Aberdeen Commercial Law Society
We’re proud to be working with the Aberdeen Commercial Law Society as they launch their student-run Negotiation Club. Through targeted sponsorship, the society will offer subsidised access to our negotiation training while giving law firms the opportunity to up-skill their own future talent.
Why The Negotiation Club?
Our approach has been described as:
“The best virtual training I’ve attended – engaging, challenging and truly confidence-building.”
Used by corporate procurement teams and law students alike, the programme focuses on one thing: practice.
No lectures, no theory-heavy slides—just highly engaging negotiation scenarios, professional coaching, and measurable growth.
